The simple answer is that we built a service that we couldn’t find ourselves.

I was planning our adventure up the east coast of Australia last year I looked online and couldn’t find anything that matched what I was looking for. I wanted someone who wasn’t a travel agent selling off the shelf holidays, would take the time to get to know me and would have genuine first hand knowledge that they could share … all at an affordable price.

Instead I spent hours flicking between travel blogs, apps, review sites and ChatGPT to help me plan what I was looking for. I’d make a plan, set some dates then when I went to book I’d find the information was out of date, travel advice was incorrect or prices had changed dramatically since the source material was created which left me frustrated and often out of pocket as I chased our perfect adventure.

If you’ve ever found yourself with twenty tabs open, comparing blogs, watching YouTube videos and wondering who to trust, we know exactly how that feels because we’ve been there too.

We’ve now spent over 20 months travelling. We’ve made plenty of mistakes (we even somehow missed a flight to Singapore after sitting at the boarding gate!), discovered places we’d never have found without slowing down, experienced wildlife we’d only ever dreamed of seeing and met lifelong friends from around the world. Every mistake and every incredible experience has taught us something we’ll now pass on to the families we work with.

That leaves us in a privileged position to be able to share our experiences with other families who want to create lifelong memories without the stress of research and the risk of the information being incorrect.

We don’t claim to know everything, and we never will. But because we are travelling ourselves, we’ve constantly learning. We’re staying in the accommodation, catching the trains, find the hidden cafes, making the mistakes and discovering the moments that never make it into the brochure. That’s the experience we bring to every Family Adventure Blueprint we create.

We don’t want to sell you a holiday. We want to help you make the most of the precious time you have together as family and create memories you’ll still be talking about years from now.
